Severity: CRITICAL Interval: 1 DAY
Why do I see this?
One of your DynamoDB tables didn’t have Point-In-Time-Recovery (PITR) enabled.
What is this about?
Point-In-Time-Recovery (PITR) is an automatic continuous backup that lets you restore your DynamoDB table and secondary indexes, global and local, to any point in time during the past 35 days. This setting does not interfere with on-demand backups but instead acts as an additional defense layer.
How do I fix this?
You can enable PITR in the AWS DynamoDB Console by selecting a table and clicking on the “Backups” tab in the middle of the view.
This rule resolution is part of the Dashbird Serverless Well Architected Reports tool for AWS. Dashbird features a collection of rules and checks continuously applied to your infrastructure, surfacing ways to improve it.
Find and fix other errors and anomalies in DynamoDB.
