Why do I see this?

One of your queues doesn’t have a consumer that processes its messages.

What does this mean?

If this insight is triggered, you may have misconfigured a consumer function to your SQS queue, or the consumer is not getting access to the queue.

SQS Queue is not worked on. How do I fix this?

Check the following things.

  • You configured a consumer for that queue correctly.
  • The consumer has permission to access the queue.
  • The consumer doesn’t have any errors.

This rule resolution is part of the Dashbird Serverless Well Architected Reports tool for AWS. Dashbird features a collection of rules and checks continuously applied to your infrastructure, surfacing ways to improve it.
